half of them are playing favortisim and only doing pictures for friends.
others are way too busy and never answer ANYONE like
(annoying as all hell since i love his art but he NEVER RESPONDS TO ANYTHING)or they're too busy to do much of anything, even sketches, like
(i love his work but i asked for a SMALL sketch request back in OCTOBER. i mean, i can wait but months is HARD! i also understand busy but he updates every once in awhile)or there are people like
who only do things for commission. and they're OVER PRICED commissions. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! MOST PEOPLE ON HERE OVERPRICE DRAWN PICTURES!! ugh...i love the artwork,people, but i HATE the way the artists act. except
. i respect baron and he acctually talks but he's too busy...to even sketch, i think *sighs* 
Baron-Engel may be super busy and have a super busy job, BUT that doesn't mean not getting back to you updating every once in a while etc. or he took soooo many requests that he has months worth of them and updates to let those know he finished them, OR cannot spend time on small requests. either way he should at least say so
the over priced issues are as such. it takes time to draw. by hand or otherwise. for some it takes hours, for some not so much but it depends on how they do it. there is no average price for commissions. alot of it is tools used and time that goes into it. sadly this is starting to make traditional hand drawn art obsolete or a rare thing now. STILL that does not make it acceptable to over charge or give attitude. SO i am on your side. hoping i am not a snotty artist but still...geez. at the least i have no problem doing gifts or such
to be honest i have to side with these artists. theres no point in spending hours on something for someone you dont know, will probably only talk to you to get more free art, and then get nothing in return.
Some people like me wake up every day, and realize we have to DEAL with people.
Maybe Bleedman doesn't WANT to respond. That's his choice.
Baron-Engel probably doesn't want to do a sketch for someone, that's again, his choice.
And over priced commissions? Tell me something that's NEW.
Oh, and even if they DO do requests, they aren't always gonna listen.
People are gonna be ignoramuses no matter what, they're not gonna do what you want them to. Even if what they do is amazing and they just won't respond to you; they have a life, and they probably have more important things in life than deviantArt.
I was overjoyed when people like Xenon responded to me. That's because she chooses to respond to her viewers, and she has fun in chatting with them. Bleedman probably uses deviantArt as a means of showing off his art and nothing else.
I'm sorry if I'm being Mr. Majority Voice today. I'm simply putting out what I know and what I think on this. Forgive me if I've offended you in any way.
